I apologize ladies and gentlemen, can anyone tell me what function the author is using at the moment: 0:34 This is extremely important to me for gameplay and ease of use, but I can't find any information about this feature
Do you mean making the transparency options? If so, pressing X will toggle everything's visibilty. Use Ctrl X to open the transparency menu for individual control and to lock certain categories (I for example lock signs and stations to be permanently visible)

You are trying to do long distance trips with the cargo. You mention that this produces more money in the long run. Why? It seems counterintuitive.
It is counterintuitive! But it is just how the game works, and does make for more interesting gameplay, even though it doesn’t really make sense

I recently build a monorail spanning my whole 256x256 world and yes, even three islands that are far away from the mainland. Thanks to poor signaling, a traffic jam of 4 out of 9 monorails occured. I placed other combo signals and placed some depots to fix this. This video helped me solve a big problem before it was too late.

There's a recent patch that fixes this I think (Unbunching)
This can't work without disabling train depot maintenance and reducing all infrastructure upkeep costs to or near to zero.

Dont remember how this works exactly but when you build a station and dont provide any service to it all nearby industries basically roll the dice every 3 months and either decrease production or close if are at lowest level or not producing ie a factory 😅

A tip to avoid having to check on your stations constantly - you can open station list and sort it by total waiting cargo, then resize it so that it only shows 4 or 5 stations with the most stuff on them. Keep that window open and pinned somewhere in the corner

Would it still be wise to build a full-blown overflow system at a strictly drop off industry, specifically power plants, or is there another way you recommend handling high train loads at those stations?

How did I just find out thsg towns only need 5 stations to grow. Ain't no goddamn way. Is this still true in the newer versions?
12:09 Sadly the save game download of the coop game doesn’t seem to work for me. It’s taken me a long time to understand the design of the sub network for the pickup / transfer trains. The reversers hidden in tunnels are the key to encourage trains to take the waiting bays.
I'm just starting into Coop style play and your videos are still the best source of easy to understand guidance. Thank you for all the content you created allowing new players to build these amazing networks

can somebody please explain to me why when I used a spiral pattern, added 5 stations to a town, 20 buses and it started at roughly 200 people but in like 80 years of letting it sit trying to grow it it only reached like 5,000 people. Keep in mind though this was a set scenario and I manually placed the town in that then played the senariao
